Based on the song ‘Scars to Your Beautiful’ by singer Alessia Cara, I recreated my own version of a VOGUE Magazine about societal beauty standards. Women are given a beauty standard by society which they are expected to meet and generally the media helps generate this criteria and displays images of women who fit into this standard. I decided to recreate a well known magazine and create my own beauty shoot of young women to show that beauty is unique and to be beautiful does not mean to fit into this standard society has handed to us.
